Sensory impairment

Sense has published employment toolkits for people with sensory impairments. They include template CVs and tips for writing a covering letter and preparing for an interview. They also include links to a number of resources and employment programmes to help people with sensory impairments looking for work.

The toolkits were co-produced with one their young campaigners who is deafblind, Molly O’Brien.

Sense has published new resources to support the employment of people who are deafblind. Deafblind people can work, however many will need specialist support to enable them to do so.  Sense campaigns to ensure those deafblind people who want to work get the support they need to gain employment and those deafblind people who work are supported to do their job well and can progress in their career.
