Who can be a member of BASE ?
BASE is a pan-disability charity and our members are individuals and organisations who are keen to see people with disability or other economic disadvantage, realise the benefits of a good quality career and flourish.
We have more than 300 member organisations who represent the diverse range of support that contributes to successful outcomes for job seekers and employers.
There are two categories of membership Full and Associate
Full membership of BASE is available to organisations and individuals who provide or facilitate paid employment, advice, guidance or training for people with a disability and/or other economic disadvantage.
Associate membership of BASE is available to individuals over the age of 18 and organisations with an interest in supported employment and inclusive recruitment.
The difference between the Full and Associate memberships, is that voting at any regional, annual general or extraordinary meetings that may take place is only open to Full members of the Association. All members must agree to the aims and definitions in the association's memorandum and articles of association.
Membership runs yearly from when you apply to join BASE and is paid in advance.

* an area is defined as a city council, town or county town area.
The following examples of membership are intended to give general guidance only and should not be considered exhaustive. BASE reserves the right to apply a higher category rate of membership than the one selected in your application.
