Newbury College

Newbury College is a General Further Education College providing career-focused programmes in a wide range of vocational subject areas. We have a large, semi-rural catchment area including West Berkshire and other parts of the Thames Valley.

Our programmes range from Entry to Degree level, through our partnerships with University of Reading and Buckinghamshire New University. We also work with a number of local employers and organisations to provide apprenticeship and work experience opportunities.

Supported learning programmes are offered as part of our Foundation Learning provision, a suite of Entry Level programmes providing skills in personal development and employability. The aim of these programmes is to support progression into further education, employment or independent living.

When making an application, all applicants are assessed and offered the most appropriate programme and pathway to meet their individual needs and goals. They will be supported throughout their with us and be encouraged to progress through the different levels, and where possible, to challenge themselves and meet their true potential.
