Generate was founded in 1972 to make sure that people with learning disabilities weren’t isolated in their local community. Today that passion still inspires our staff: to support people with learning disabilities to live their lives, in the way they choose – enabling people to discover their passions, connect with their communities and explore ‘possibilities’. This passion drives the quality of the work we do.

 

Employment Support

Generate can provide 1:1 employment support to individuals with a wide-range of disabilities, through the Government’s Access to Work programme. Access to Work can provide you with:

• Employment support workers
• Job coaching
• Support to keep your job
• Workplace mentoring

 

Supported Internships 

Generate can provide job coaches to support interns between the ages of 16-24 with an EHCP during an internship program. Generate can also assist with applying for job coach funding through the Access to Work grant.
