City of Wolverhampton Council Supported Employment supports people with disabilities to secure and retain paid employment. The service works collaboratively with partners and  employers to enable people with disabilities to achieve sustainable long-term employment and businesses to employ valuable workers. 

Supported Employment also provides early prevention to adults with disabilities who may not be eligible for social care support but gaining meaningful employment would prevent the person requiring social care and support.

In addition, City of Wolverhampton Council Wolves @ Work - Provide a one-to-one service to help people in Wolverhampton to achieve their employment goals, whether you are a highly skilled professional or someone without any work experience.

Your own dedicated Work Coach to assist you in pursuing your career aims. CV support, help to complete the perfect application and interview practice. Work-related training courses to help you get started, advice on in-work benefits and continued in-work support for 12 weeks once you start a job. We also have access to hundreds of local jobs through our employer links.

To be eligible for the programme you will be:

  • A resident of Wolverhampton
  • 18+ years of age
