Aldingbourne Trust

The Aldingbourne Trust is an award winning charity based in West Sussex and through social enterprise supports people with learning / physical disabilities to develop their skills which will enable them to live life independently. We provide varied opportunities for people aged from 18 years to develop a choice of skills leading to greater independence covering all aspects of someone's life.

We enable people to develop their skills which could lead onto employment within the community; we work with people as individuals and we involve people in making decisions about their lives and in the development of our services.

The Aldingbourne Trust is a registered charity, first established in 1978. We now support over 550 individuals in West Sussex and we work in partnership with many local businesses within the community which enables people to achieve greater independence and have control of their lives.

We do this by providing a range of day, residential, training and support opportunities.

The Aldingbourne Trust are proud to have been awarded Overall Business of the Year 2013 at the Arun Business Partnership Awards; along with three further awards for Disability Awareness, Marketing and Promotion and Business in the Community.
