This online course is delivered over 6 half-days and offers a comprehensive overview of the supported employment process. The course is CPD accredited and is based on the knowledge requirements for the National Occupational Standards for Supported Employment. Who is the course for?

This non-accredited course is suitable for all staff supporting disabled people into work or supporting vocational pathways such as Supported Internships and apprenticeships.

It is also useful for human resources staff leading on diversity and inclusive recruitment.

 

What does the course cover?

The course covers the underpinning knowledge from the Level 3 Certificate course and is based on the 5 stages of Supported Employment:

  • the core values of supported employment
  • jobseeker engagement
  • the principles of vocational profiling
  • employer engagement
  • job matching
  • in-work support

What will it cost?

Member organisations: the cost per learner is £500+VAT.

Non-member organisations: the cost per learner is £625+VAT.

Courses can be commissioned for up to 16 learners at £5,000+VAT for member organisations or £6,000+VAT for non-member organisations.
