GIS Healthcare is part of Gloucestershire County Council has been established for over 30 years and has been involved in the medical aid business for over 10 years. GIS Healthcare has the Community Equipment Service Contract with the Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust for the delivery, collection, refurbishment and servicing of a wide range of medical equipment. In addition, it offers people with disabilities, their families and carers, aids and appliances the opportunity to buy equipment at sensible prices to help them live more independently, to make their daily living easier and improve their comfort and mobility. GIS is also dedicated to the employment and training of people with disabilities. Any profit generated by GIS healthcare is used to support their continued employment. GIS also offers a manual wheelchair service, spares (where possible depending on age of chair) and repair.
