Our vision is of an inclusive and sustainable society where all people are valued and empowered to live good lives. We are on a mission to inspire people and organisations delivering services for children, young people and families with Special Educational Needs and Disability. So they empower and enable the people they work with to lead good lives. We do this by providing high quality training in systematic instruction (TSI). 

Since TSIs inception in the early 1980’s, it has been consistently delivered face to face in participatory workshops. The recent global pandemic has led to national and localised lockdowns in the UK and across the globe. TSI courses, like almost all of everyday life, ground to a halt. Jo and Barry, determined to ensure job coaches and other paid supporters have ongoing access to high quality TSI training have ‘Tried Another Way’. Supported by their mentors, Sue and Rob Henstock from ‘Changing Futures by Design’, they have developed the 3+1 day introduction to TSI course as an online offer. The online programme includes all the tried and tested aspects of the face to face workshops and is complimented by online videos, written content and quizzes.
