Salary: £13,142 (£23,000 pro rata) Location: Home based
Part time (20 hours), maternity cover/15 months


WorkFit is the DSA employment programme, which bridges the gap between employers and candidates with Down’s syndrome. WorkFit aims to find the right role for the right candidate, with the right level of support for success. The project supports a range of work opportunities, including paid work, voluntary work, work experience placements and supported apprenticeships/intenships.


The successful applicant will join an award-winning supported employment team working with organisations from SMEs to some of the best known national and international brands to develop employment opportunities for people with Down’s syndrome. This is an exciting time for the programme, and we are working with many well-known and high-profile organisations across all industry sectors.


We are looking for an experienced Project Administrator to provide support to the programme for a fixed term. The successful candidate will be part of the WorkFit Team and will report directly to the Employment Development Manager. They will focus on the administration of our supported employment programme, including managing data and records, minute-taking and action items, creating and posting online content. video editing, creating publications and engaging with our key stakeholders: candidates (people who have Down’s syndrome and are looking for work or need some support on their career pathway), their family members and employers.


A key part of the role is to provide information to prospective employers and candidates about the programme and to effectively represent DSA to a range of stakeholders and so excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential. The ability to develop relationships with external organisations, co-ordinate and facilitate meetings and support team members working remotely is essential along with proven ability to plan and manage project-based work and identify opportunities for development.


A key part of the job is to manage and present project data using MS Office, SalesForce and other IT systems to support management reporting, funding applications and other activities.


The position will be based from home.
