Who is the Level 3 certificate course suitable for? This course is accredited by Gateway Qualifications and is suitable for job coaches, managers of employment support services work experience coordinators, college staff supporting internships.
What does the Level 3 Certificate Course coverLearners registering for this course must have opportunities to meet the evidence requirements to successfully complete the course, therefore they must be working in a role that involves supporting people on their employment pathway. Learners who have already completed the BASE Supported Employment Techniques course can convert to the Level 3 certificate, see cost below. Learners will need to complete a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate how they have applied the underpinning knowledge and skills listed in the National Occupational Standards for Supported Employment. Many of the learning outcomes will require assessment in the workplace so all learners must be able to demonstrate their practice with jobseekers and employers. The course is organised around six individual units:
How will the course be delivered? Delivered online, there are 8 half-days of training to give the underpinning knowledge and offer extensive support through our assessors. A workplace assessment and professional discussion will form a part of the assessment process. Learners will have 12 months to complete a portfolio demonstrating how they meet the course evidence requirements. In certain circumstances an extension to this period may be available on payment of an additional fee.
