In this Lunch and Learn session, participants will be introduced to a unique educational initiative born the demand of workforce development with BASE members and extended supported employment organisations. This initiative offers fully funded, accessible, and inclusive education programs designed to attract, retain, and upskill staff. The session will cover three key areas: BASE Coaching Professional, BASE Leadership & Management, and BASE Support, Care & Case Worker. Each program is tailored to enhance specific skill sets - from developing professional coaching abilities, including one-to-one, team, and leadership coaching, to acquiring management skills in operational planning, resource management, and various other critical areas. The session also emphasizes the importance of front-line skills for those in support, care, and employability roles, focusing on values-based care and positive impact. The session is designed to be beneficial for a wide range of professionals, from new managers and supervisors to experienced leaders and frontline workers in support and care. By integrating these learning opportunities into the organisational culture and making them achievable alongside day-to-day job responsibilities, BASE aim to foster talent growth within organizations. The Lunch and Learn will not only provide an overview of these educational opportunities but also illustrate how they can lead to significant personal and professional development, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the supported employment focused organizations.
