Supported Employment Quality Framework



BASE is taking part in an ERASMUS project to develop a quality framework for Supported Employment. The two year project began in October 2015 and sees BASE working with a number of transnational partners:

Employment is Everyone's Business



The Employment is Everyone's Business project was funded by the Department for Education until 31 March 2016 and was jointly delivered by BASE and NDTi.

The project’s overall aim was to improve employment outcomes for young people with special educational needs and disabilities. We supported four sites across England that are already doing work on improving pathways to employment for this group of young people who have Education Health and Care (EHC) Plans.

The project has now published a range of short guides to support local authorities and post-16 education providers in developing best practice in the transition from education to employment.
