Often as a sector we hit a barrier when working with employers. This CPD accredited course will cover more advanced techniques of employer engagement and explore why as a sector we need to embrace the use of the job analysis  (the vocational profile of the employer) and how to support businesses to tailor and adapt employment practices in order to reap the benefits of a more inclusive and diverse workforce. 

Who is the course for?

This course is suitable for anybody who is working with employers to secure employment opportunities and wants to gain an understanding of how you progress and maintain those relationships.

Learning aims include:

 - The importance of employers within the core values of supported employment

- Refresh on using the business case when engaging with employers

- The who and how to progress the relationship with an employer

- All aspects of using a job analysis

- Supporting employers with Inclusive recruitment

- Negotiating and implementing job shaping and reasonable adjustments.

What will it cost?

This CPD accredited online course is delivered over 4 sessions (09:30 – 13:00)

Full cost per learner of this course is £450+VAT.

Discounted BASE Member cost per learner is £360+VAT.

This course can be commissioned for a maximum of 16 participants at a cost of £4,500+VAT , discounted to £3,600+VAT for BASE member organisations.
