NAS launches Autism at Work service

In association with the Bloomfield Trust, the Employment and Enterprise team at National Autistic Society (NAS) has launched a new employment programme, Autism at Work. The programme supports employers to promote job opportunities to autistic job seekers. It then supports applicants through the recruitment process and successful candidates to prepare for and succeed in their role.

The roles that are created through Autism at Work will be posted on their Jobs Board on the Employment pages of the NAS website.

The Employment pages also give information on how to access the free online Finding Employment training module, designed to give job seekers all the skills needed to find sustainable employment. The resource features content that is tailored to address the additional complexities often experienced as an autistic job seeker.

Further details on how the Autism at Work programme engages with employers can be found on the NAS website.

Additional queries, including how NAS branches can access the full range of tools and resources for providing advice and support to autistic job seekers in local communities, should be directed to enterprise.team@nas.org.uk
