IPS - Wave 2 funding open for applications

NHS England has confirmed the bidding process for Wave 2 of the Individual Placement Support funding and launched it on 7 November. Applications should be returned by close of play on Wednesday 5th December 2018 to England.mentalhealthsouth@nhs.net and copy to england.adultMH@nhs.net

We are trying to locate all the documentation needed to submit an application and will post a link on this page.

NHS England are recommending that the maximum application amounts for 2019/20 and provisionally in 2020/21 for ‘Wave 2’ sites are between £200K - £500K per financial year, depending on the nature of the expansion, alignment or development of a new service. Please note that final amounts awarded may be subject to negotiation, depending on the size, number and quality of applications received. NHS England are strongly encouraging areas to consider undergoing an external fidelity assessment within the two year funding period.

They are also encouraging areas to take into account any possibilities which may impact estimates of service users to be seen, e.g. as a result of delays with recruitment.
