Yoker Resource Centre

The Yoker Community Campus is a company limited by guarantee, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Yoker Resource Centre (est. 1983). The Yoker Community Campus delivers a range of health, social care, employability and educational programmes across the North West Area of Glasgow, which is bounded by the River Clyde in the South, Drumchapel in the West, Maryhill in the North and the City Centre in the East. Our employability work is aimed at those of working age with a disability.

Our work is underpinned by the following four core values:

1. We believe that every person should have opportunities to reach their potential, and to attain the best possible levels of nutrition, shelter and health.
2. We believe that the best solutions are created within communities themselves and are not imposed upon them by external agencies.
3. We believe that every person has intrinsic value to the community in which they live.
4. We believe that services should be organised around the person they are for, and not the organisations delivering them.
