All about us
Our full time employment focused study programme is called Access to the Community and Employment (ACE). It is part of our unique college curriculum, which has an emphasis on preparing for adulthood and learning without classrooms.
Our ACE team work with students with learning difficulties and disabilities to:-
- Find exciting supported employment placement to meet their aspirations and located in their local community.
- Develop the work placement alongside a practical work skills programme undertaken at college
- Transfer the placement to a Supported Employment part time paid job.
- Continue to provide support to ensure employment is retained after students leave college.
How to access what we do
The ACE course is available as part of the study programme at Camphill Wakefield. Students must have an EHCP to apply.
