Into Work

Into Work

Since 1998, Into Work has been helping disabled people and people with long-term health conditions find, build and maintain great jobs. We work towards a world where disabled people and people with long-term health conditions have equal opportunities to take up employment and receive fair treatment in work.

Services we provide

  1. Supported Employment Service- we provide personalised employment advice and practical support for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions who live in Edinburgh and Midlothian. We help the people who come to us secure meaningful, paid, and sustainable employment.
  2. Welfare Rights and Income Maximisation Service- it's important to make sure our clients are on the right benefits when looking for work and when in-work. We can advise on benefit entitlements and how these may be affected by taking up paid work. We can also advocate on client's behalf if required.
  3. Wellbeing+ Service- we provide 1:1 and group support to our clients to help them with their health and wellbeing.
  4. Inclusion Works! - a support and skills programme for young people aged 16-24 who are disabled, experience poor mental health or live with a long-term health condition. This service is for people who are not in work or education to increase their confidence and develop skills.
  5. Training and consultancy- We use our knowledge, skills, and values to support employers who want to get it right around recruitment, retention, and the development of their workforce. This includes our Autism Works! training for employers to enhance their ability and confidence in recruiting, retaining and promoting autistic staff.

The geographical areas we cover are Edinburgh, Midlothian & East Lothian
