This note provides a brief summary of Government policy on mental health in England. It covers policies introduced under the 2010-2015 Coalition Government, and those introduced under the 2015 Conservative Government. It is not intended to provide detail on every recent policy, and instead focuses on the main developments and programmes of work. It focuses on health policy, and so does not look in detail at wider changes that may affect
