Work/Job Coaches (bemix)

Salary: £11.00 per hour
Posts:  A range of hours available, working on a non-exclusive, flexible basis - Monday to Friday, with the option of fitting around school hours.
Location: Post 1: Medway/Gravesham. Post 2: Swale (You might support at more than one employer during the day, requiring travel between sites.)


bemix is recruiting two Work Coaches. You will join our successful Supported Internships team and provide dedicated, individualised support to students. You will be working alongside them in Job Club and a bespoke work placement with the aim of supporting them into paid employment at the end of the internship. We need people who are: 

  •  Great organisers and problem-solvers
  •  Able to connect well with young people and employers
  •  Passionate about nurturing the potential of young people with learning difficulties and/or autism
  •  Calm, confident and adaptable
  •  Committed and reliable 

Experience of working as a Job Coach and with young people with a learning difficulty and/or autism is desirable, but not essential.
