Volunteer ND Mentoring : Bristol

Inclusive Change at Work are based in Bristol / South Gloucestershire and have been offering supported work experience since 2022 to autistic people and those who are neurodivergent.

We offer a programme of work experience and a neurodivergent curriculum to promote self-awareness, reasonable adjustments and an ability to self-advocate. We also provide training and support to employers to help them develop more inclusive and diverse workplace and increase sustainable employment opportunities.

We cover the South Gloucestershire / Bristol / West of England Combined Authority areas

We're looking for volunteer mentors to support our work experience offer for neurodivergent traines

Salary: n/a but travel expenses refunded
Hours: 4h/week
Location: Bristol / South Gloucestershire: Stoke Gifford BS16 1YF
Closing date: next training dates Sat 25^th Feb and 11^th March 9.30-1.00

As a mentor to an autistic / neurodivergent trainee, you will

- receive ND mentor training

- support a young person on a work experience placement tailored to their strengths and interests

- empower your trainee to gain self-awareness and confidence in a supportive work environment

- receive training and regular supervision

- be welcomed into a wonderful team and exciting young organisation

The commitment is 4h/week, day and time to suit you.
