The Buckinghamshire Adult Learning Supported Internship is an exciting and innovative supported employment programme in partnership with Stony Dean School. It is designed to bridge the gap between Post 16 education and successful long term employment.

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a part-time administrator with a range of skills that are suitable for working in a school and as well as a business environment. There is also an exciting opportunity for career progression to undertake a nationally accredited Job Coach training course and become part of the team supporting young adults in the workplace.

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated individual to provide an effective and efficient administration service for the Supported internship team who would like to be part of a growing programme. The successful candidate will need to be confident, adaptable, organised, and most importantly have a flexible approach. We are looking for a person that is dynamic and flexible, with high standards of literacy, numeracy and IT literate. You will be committed to improving life chances for young adults with a learning difficulty and/or disability.

This is the 3rd year of the Supported Internship that provides a personalised approach to supporting employment. Our aim as an organisation is to provide a ground breaking education programme which help young people to develop and secure long term employment.  Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
