2 Year Fixed Term Contract /Secondment Opportunity

This is a multi-faceted role offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Advisor to further develop their career in a dynamic new team, based within Community Drug Treatment Services. The post holder will work as part of a community drug and alcohol treatment service; maintaining an integrated and holistic approach to recovery through employment. Successful applicants will support a caseload of people to gain and sustain paid employment. They will also facilitate, develop and maintain excellent working relationships with employers, brokering job opportunities for the client group; closely guiding and supporting them into sustained employment.

You will need to have a demonstrable track record of placing people into paid employment. This position will suit a self-starter, who is able to use their own initiative, whilst also implementing evidence based employment models, such as IPS/ Supported Employment. The successful candidate will be provided with training to support this approach.  You will also be expected to work with the wider Employment, Skills and Adult Learning Team to maximise opportunities for the client group, whilst adopting a collaborative approach to employment support.
