Enterprise Manager (Elite)

Salary: £28,650 - £33,000pa depending on experience
Post: Full-time, 37 Hours. A Job Share will be considered.
Location: ELITE Clothing Solution sites and various locations within the communities of South and East Wales.

 

ABOUT US

ELITE Clothing Solutions is a new clothing production Social Enterprise that aims to support through its manufacturing activities individuals with disabilities or those at a disadvantage, to access, obtain and maintain paid employment via appropriate support and training, from a key site in Ebbw Vale. The Social Enterprise is being established by ELITE Supported Employment Agency, a registered charity set up in 1994 to support people across South Wales. ELITE hold an Investors in People: Gold accreditation, we have been awarded an 'Exemplar Employer' rating by Chwarae Teg’s Agile Nation 2 Business Programme, and we are proud to be ranked Disability Confident Leader status.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • To generate customers for the Social Enterprise from voluntary, public and private sector, representing the organisation accordingly at events and providing presentations.
  • Liaise appropriately with the SMT and Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator to generate the organisation brand and focus.
  • Oversee and supervise the staff operations at ELITE Clothing Solutions Ltd, including a range of personnel matters e.g. annual leave, sickness, timetables and where necessary liaising with HR and the Senior Management Team.
  • Oversee and manage the implementation of grant funded projects and where necessary contribute to claims outcomes.
  • Support the CEO in relation to tendering / grant applications.
  • To lead the recruitment of paid staff, volunteers and trainees through the appropriate mechanisms and liaising with ELITE project staff and outside agencies to assess preferences, skills and support needs with regards to training, employment and volunteering.
  • To work as a member of the team, taking part in regular supervision, meetings and appropriate training.
  • Maintain and produce all relevant paperwork / administration including financial records and reports to Senior Management Team as requested.
  • Foster effective operational relationship with network agencies and customers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week. Some flexible working may be required. Responsible to CEO/COO.
