Employment Liaison Worker (Wigan Council)

Salary: From £11,742
Post: Permanent, part-time (18.5 hours per week)
Location: Wigan

You will work in partnership with local employers and businesses to support individuals with a disability to sustain long-term employment. You will advocate for inclusive workplaces, providing information and guidance to managers. You will manage a high caseload, conducting regular review and monitoring meetings with employers and employees. You will play an integral part in breaking down barriers, provide creative solutions and change perceptions to highlight the benefits of having a diverse workforce and retaining staff.

You will need to be hardworking, flexible, and committed to supporting local employers and individuals with a disability that have been successful in gaining paid employment. We are looking for individuals that want to make a difference to local people and local employers. You will require the ability to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with individuals and employers, pursuing a positive outcome for all.
