Employer Engagement Support (bemix)

Salary: £23,088, pro rata.
Post: Part-time position of 21 hours per week (flexible, but regular hours during the week). 
Location: Working remotely and in the business community in and around Medway, Swale and Gravesham.

 

We are recruiting for an Employer Engagement Support to work alongside the Employer Engagement Lead to identify, engage and support employers in Medway, Swale and Gravesham. With the aim to develop strong work placements for young people (interns) with learning difficulties and/or autism. Develop relationships with employers to maximise prospects for high quality, sustained, paid work following the internship and/or creating preparation for work opportunities.

  • experienced in developing relationships with businesses/organisations, generating leads and meeting goals,
  • an excellent communicator,
  • passionate about achieving equality and paid work opportunities for people with learning difficulties and/or autism,
  • reliable, organised and self-motivated,
  • confident with IT skills and providing administrative support
