Director of Services (Parchment Trust)

Salary: £35,000pa
Location: Hastings, East Sussex

Our deeply held belief is that everyone should be equal in freedom, dignity and rights and we work tirelessly to achieve this. An exciting new opportunity has become available at senior management level: Director of Services (supported employment) 

The role:

This post will have management responsibility for three operational managers and will report directly to the Chief Executive. You will promote the ethics, values and purpose of the Trust, both within the organisation and within the community. You will be broadening opportunities and independence for people with disabilities, particularly in terms of pathways to employment – voluntary, supported and paid.

You will need:

  • Proven leadership skills, including managing and developing a wide range of staff and deploying them to the best advantage
  • A record of service development and driving up standards
  • The ability to develop professional relationships with Commissioners, other professional bodies, parents and carers and other stakeholders
  • Reflective practice to enable identification of your own training and development needs
  • A relentless drive to attain the highest levels of achievement and personal development for all service-users and staff
