Practitioner of the Year

This award is kindly sponsored by EADS.

This award will be presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in the supported employment sector.  It recognises the significant role of the supported employment practitioner in consistently providing high quality person-centred support to jobseekers, employees and employers, with a benefit to all parties, and changing lives.

  • The practitioner’s work embodies the person-centred and inclusive values which guide the profession as laid out in the 12 core values that underpin supported employment 
  • The practitioner is resourceful in relation to any aspect of the 5-stage supported employment model
  • The practitioner works in partnership with jobseekers, employees circles of support and employers to ensure the best possible outcomes for everyone involved
  • The practitioner has achieved outstanding results for disabled and/or disadvantaged people to achieve their paid work aspirations
  • The practitioner has achieved outstanding results in supporting employers to recruit and retain a diverse workforce.

The winning entry will demonstrate how the criteria above have been met. Please make sure that you are specific about the achievements of the person nominated.
