TMTS is a secondary school for young people with complex learning needs aged 11 - 19. Our curriculum is designed for students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Many of our learners are also on the Autistic Spectrum, have sensory needs or are physically disabled.
Students in Post 16 follow a “Skills for Life” curriculum which is designed to prepare students for life after TMTS.All post 16 students have an Individual Education Plan which details their longer term goals and the learning journey they are taking to get there. Students in Post 16 have their work accredited to recognise their accomplishments.
