Parchment Trust Limited is a registered charity, founded in 1993 to serve people with learning and physical disabilities in East Sussex. The Trust provides services that respond to individual needs, with person-centred support. We provide opportunities for learning, occupation, socialising and access to the community:-

• The Co-operative for people with learning disabilities who want to be as independent as possible
• Friary Gardeners horticultural scheme for people with a variety of disabilities
• Dedicated & Bespoke Services, individually designed day opportunities for those with profound and complex needs

The service aims to encourage its members to maximise their independence in all areas of their lives and it provides a base for members to access new areas of occupation, leisure and development. All members are encouraged to take responsibility for planning their own programmes; the staff support them in this.

As well as all the varied activities and opportunities that are provided within the service we also encourage members in accessing and maintaining suitable work placements.
