Portsmouth 2006

BASE conference: Portsmouth Guildhall 7-9 June 2006

This year's BASE conference took place in Portsmouth on 7-9 June 2006. The three day event was attended by 180 delegates from across the Uk and heard keynote speeches from Anne McGuire MP, Minister for Disabled People; Jeremy Hunt MP, Shadow Minister for Disabled People; and Sara Harrison, Diversity Project Manager for ITV. There was also a discussion session with Peter Little OBE and Beverley Burgess of the Learning and Skills Council and over 20 workshops were delivered across the three days. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Portsmouth City Council for their support and sponsorship. Thanks also go to RBLI for sponsoring the event.
